Description

Mercanet is the secure payment solution offered by BNP, designed for clients with an "e-commerce" website.

This Mercanet plugin is based on the "Webservice with secret key and connector" technology for the VirtueMart e-commerce solution.

Installation of the Mercanet plugin

• Download the specific archive for the payment module for VirtueMart and install the archive via Joomla's extension manager

Configuration of the Mercanet payment method for VirtueMart

• Head to the Joomla administration and go to Component VirtueMart, then go to Add a payment method
• Download the specific archive for the payment module for VirtueMart and install the archive via Joomla's extension manager

• Complete

  Mercanet Settings

  Environment

  The test environment is to be used solely for debugging the payment solution.
  Learn more about the test environment.
  Once your tests are completed, switch to PRODUCTION environment, and update your settings with those of your shop.

  Mercanet shop ID

  ID provided by Mercanet.

  Secret key

  The secret key available in the Mercanet Download interface.
  Learn more about the secret key.

  Secret key version

  The version of the secret key available in the Mercanet Download interface.

  Prefix

  Prefix to use for identifying your transactions.

  Dynamic 3D Secure override amount

  This option allows you to offer 3D-Secure control based on the order amount (option subject to eligibility criteria, consult your account manager for more information). By setting an activation threshold, this control will only be offered for the desired order amount.

  Receipt display by Mercanet

  The payment confirmation page, displayed by default by Mercanet can be disabled.
